CoolSculpting is a nonsurgical procedure that uses cryolipolysis, otherwise known as fatfreezing, to freeze the fat cells in the treated area and destroy fat. Fatty areas are gentlypinched between the CoolSculpting applicator, which cools the area to a temperature that causes fat cells to crystallize and die. Following treatment, the body will naturally eliminate the dead fat cells, which can result in up to 20-25% reduction of stubborn fat in the treated area with just one treatment, and up to 40-50% with 2 treatments.
